Meaning of Sun’s aspect through Houses for Leo Ascendant

Let’s take a look at those things which matter here – 

Sun - Sun represents Personality, King, Government, Father, Authority, Career, Top Positions, Ego, Self Esteem, Health, Education etc.

For Leo Ascendant people, Sun rules the 1st house of chart with its sign Leo. So, let’s look at 1st house and Leo too. 

1st house/Ascendant - It is your self, personality, overall health, life path and head in human body etc.

Leo - Leo is 5th sign of zodiac belt, hence it represents the things associated with 5th house of horoscope like Love, Creativity, Arts, Being on Stage etc. Besides that, Leo is basically the Lion. This is the sign of feeling like King or Queen. Also, it is a sign of independence, Confidence, Ego, Self Esteem etc. Leo's lord is Sun.

What will Sun do in Aspect? – Now, Sun can be sitting in any house of chart for a Leo Ascendant person. 1st of all, Sun will take the energy of house of chart, it rules with Leo sign, and take it to the house where it sits. Then from the house it sits, it will throw its aspect on the 7th house from its place. As Sun represents Ego and Authority, Sun’s aspect on a particular house will show where person will show Ego and Authority of things related to the house which is ruled by Sun through Leo Sign. I am sure that we will better understand when I cover Sun’s aspect house-wise. 

Things which I still can’t cover – Although, I am trying to make it a detailed analysis of planetary aspects but I still can’t cover few things like dignity of planet involved, like exalted Sun aspecting 7th house from itself is different from debilitated Sun aspecting 7th house from itself, Sun conjunct with other planets, if there are planets in 7th house from Sun where it aspects, in which case those planets will aspect back at Sun and impact it, and planets aspecting Sun from other houses. That’s why, no matter how detailed analysis you do in Astrology, there are still few things uncovered and that just shows the limits of Human Efforts. 

Now, let’s see the meaning and impact of Sun’s aspect through different houses for Leo Ascendant people. 

Sun in 1st house – Sun will be in own sign here. Of course Ego and Proud feeling towards Self will be sky-high. This means person will treat himself like a Celebrity and would always want others to do the same. And this nature of aspect goes to 7th house of Other People, where they expect everyone to treat them like a King Queen. Now, if they are really a celebrity, this desire may be fulfilled else it only spoils the relations. 

Sun in 2nd house – Sun is in Virgo sign here. It shows that due to self-efforts, they accumulate their wealth and nourish family. They are very analytical about their family. As they provide everything to family, they become an authoritative figure in Family and then they give that authoritative approach to in-laws and other people with Sun's aspect on 8th house. This creates a rift between person and in-laws though other people may still accept the authority due to wealth factor. 

Sun in 3rd house – Here, Sun will be debilitated. Not only it will cause lack of confidence and beaten down ego but it also indicates spoilt relations with younger siblings. This person is better to work in creative field based on his hobbies. That's where, his ego and confidence will develop with time. As he is more involved in following creative pursuits, his interactions with his Teachers in matters of Higher Education are not very noteworthy. There will be an ego battle with Teachers surrounding matters of education. 

Sun in 4th house – Sun will be in Scorpio. It shows that person has to go through transformative events regarding his Life-Path, Mother and in Home Life. Here too, ego takes a beating in early life but more they deal with these transformative events, better their Ego and Confidence develop. They may have a very secretive personality. As their ego develops, they show it off to people at work with 7th house aspect on 10th house. Here, it may give problems with Bosses and Colleagues, but it will help the career in due time. 

Sun in 5th house – Sun is in Sagittarius here. 5th house is Education and Sagittarius is Higher Education. It shows someone's ego getting developed on the base of his learning in life. Sun's 7th house aspect on 11th house ensures that person earns or gains through his learning but it shows that due to ego display of higher education & income, his relation with elder sibling, friends and network circles will be spoilt. So, person needs to be careful about it. 

Sun in 6th house – Now, Sun is in Capricorn, i.e. enemy sign. This shows person's life path is going into dealing with disputes and obstacles. Sun & Capricorn both represent Govt and Law, so it can very well show a Govt Lawyer dealing with disputes and litigation. As it is in enemy sign, ego again takes a beating in early life but develops as person deals with all the obstacles successfully. With aspect on 12th house, person seeks authority and ego satisfaction through his position in MNCs, Jails and Hospitals etc, i.e. wherever he works. 

Sun in 7th house – Here, Sun is again in enemy sign Aquarius ruled by Saturn. This shows person completely showing his ego and authority to other people and partner, but as it is in enemy sign, 7th house people never care for it. This leads to stress in relations. Rather than Egoist, person needs to learn how to be humble in relations with this placement. This again shows that person gets ego boost due to recognition by other people but it generally happens later in life. 

Sun in 8th house – Sun is in Pisces in 8th house. It shows a personality or ego that develops through knowledge of Occult and Spirituality. 8th house energy will be there, so ego will be smashed in early life but more the person gets into transformation, occult and spirituality, the better his ego develops. As he goes through so many changes and develops his ego, he feels like commanding same authority from his family by Sun's aspect on 2nd house of family. 

Sun in 9th house – Now, Sun is exalted. Person will develop his ego & confidence through higher learning, travelling to far distant places and interacting with people of different ethnicity. As Sun is exalted, person develops an early and dignified ego. With Sun's aspect on 3rd house, it makes a person very authoritative in his speech and communications. He can be equally good in his counselling/teaching and writing. Benefits of exalted Sun will be there. 

Sun in 10th house – Sun will be in Taurus. It shows person's ego and authority develops when he deals with matters related with Father, Career and Wealth. As it is in enemy sign, it again shows hard work dealing with these issues but success in due course with repetitive actions. As he finally gets the desired results of 10th house, he commands a valid authority at home with aspect on 4th house, but before that it will be a frustrated display of ego only over home which may spoil home environment. 

Sun in 11th house – Sun will be in Gemini here. It shows that person’s life path and ego is getting developed by working for social welfare through his communications and counselling or in large organizations. This also increases his gains in life. As person develops his ego in these fields and through gains, his ego & authority get direction towards 5th house of children and loved ones. Although, it indicates gains through his education but it also indicates unnecessary ego shown to children or loved ones which may spoil the relation. 

Sun in 12th house – Here, Sun is in Cancer. It shows someone getting life path and ego at foreign lands, foreign companies and probably by working with Foreign Government. Person will be in authority position there and will display the same authority towards 6th house of colleagues and daily work routine. It may show authority at work but will spoil relation with colleagues. 

Ego will remain a factor with Sun, no matter it is exalted or debilitated. Exalted Sun only means a dignified Ego but once it is displayed, you can’t control the way people take it. They may not feel it as dignified one as it hurts their ego. One more thing to remember here is that Sun’s aspect is destroying some things in life but brightening few other things in life.
