Let’s look at important things here –

Saturn - It is all that which we don't like in our life. Saturn is Delay, Frustration, Restriction, Limitation and Anxiety. It is people of Authority, like Boss at your Work Place or Father-Figure at Home. Saturn is our Karmic Debt from past-life. Saturn is the things we didn't treat too well in our past life. Saturn is our Challenges and Lessons of life. Saturn is Old-Age, Teeth/Bones in Human Body, Diseases, Changes etc. Saturn represents our Step-Relations, it means that wherever Saturn sits, people related with that house give us Step Treatment. Saturn is Hard Work, Efforts and most importantly Perseverance etc. Nothing comes easy and in one go with Saturn. You have to work hard continuously over the longest possible period of life. Saturn makes a person Legend as Legends have one thing in common that they choose one field and work hard in it for whole life.

Chitra - Chitra is nakshatra of creativity, works related with pictures or images, real estate and relationship conflicts etc. For more information on Chitra Nakshatra, please read this - https://www.astrosaxena.com/citnaksh.

Virgo - As Chitra is a part of Virgo, Virgo sign and its representations also become important. Virgo is the 6th sign of zodiac belt, hence it represents almost all the things which are represented by the 6th house of horoscope like Debts, Diseases, Obstacles, Serving the under-privileged, Service Life, etc. Besides this, Virgo represents analytical or critical nature of people, being perfectionist and healing abilities. Virgo's basic representation is the lady coming in boat with wheat and herbs in her hands. So, Virgo is basically a sign of healing. Virgo consists of next set of 2 and half nakshatra. i.e. Uttara-Phalguni, Hasta and Chitra. Virgo's lord is Mercury.

Libra - As Chitra is also a part of Libra, Libra sign and its representations also become important. Libra is the 7th sign of Zodiac Belt, hence it represents the energy and things related with 7th house of horoscope, i.e. Market Place, Business, Partnerships, Relations etc. Libra is sign of Balance, i.e. striking the Balance between 2 parties/ideologies or even at personal level between our own dilemmas. It is sign of Peace and Diplomacy. And this is what we are seriously looking for after the conflicts and disagreements of Virgo, i.e. Peace to prevail. At personal level, Libra is seen as sign of Relationships. Libra is consisted of 2 and half Nakshatra named Chitra, Swati and Vishakha. Libra's lord is Venus only.

Mars - As Mars rules Chitra, Mars's position and dignity is important to know about the overall functioning of any planet in Chitra.

Mercury - As Mercury rules Virgo, Mercury's position and dignity is important to know about the overall functioning of any planet in Chitra/Virgo.

Venus - As Venus rules Libra, Venus position and dignity is important to know about the overall functioning of any planet in Chitra/Libra.

Houses Involved – Also, we can’t afford to forget the houses involved as a planet can be ruling different houses and sitting in different house for every person as per ascendant and planet’s position. To know overall affect, we have to consider the houses involved as those areas of life are being impacted.

Generic Results of Saturn - Lots of things change in life with Saturn. Hence, many things will change with Saturn in different nakshatras. As Saturn represents delay, hard work and perseverance, it shows that whichever nakshatra it is placed in, Saturn will give results with hard work, delay and perseverance. With Saturn, it doesn’t matter if he is in friendly sign/nakshatra or enemy sign/nakshatra. Saturn represents either challenges or even more challenges anywhere. It can never be convenient or pleasant in any house/sign positions, not even in exaltation. Another generic thing will be Saturn’s results in relationship matters. Saturn is a cold or harsh planet. In any house/sign/nakshatra, Saturn would show that people related with that house will give person a very harsh or cold treatment. In romantic relations, Saturn will just suck the pleasure factor away and relationship life can be very dry and cold. People say that after 35 Saturn gives better results but I feel that it is not that Saturn will bring better results but we realize our limitations in life till 30-35 years of age and we understand that what we can expect in life and what we cannot. With this background, let’s understand Saturn in various nakshatras.

Interpretation of Saturn in Chitra Nakshatra – Saturn is in enemy’s nakshatra here but in friendly signs of Virgo and Libra, Chitra is nakshatra of creativity. Saturn there will make person work hard on his creative pursuits before they achieve anything in that area. As Chitra is ruled by Mars, Saturn-Mars energy exchange anyways makes a person to work hard in his life as they realize that nothing will happen in life before putting best effort with perseverance. So, here that best effort goes into Chitra related matters like creativity. Saturn-Mars energy exchange also makes someone to go into field of technology or automobiles etc. So, they can pursue such career too.

At the same time, Chitra is nakshatra related to ego clashes too. This shows that if Saturn is impacting any relationship oriented house or planet then it can cause ego conflicts in relationship. As it is nakshatra of conflicts, career in legal field can also be a possibility. In Virgo section, person can also be a Doctor/Surgeon. But as always, all the results will be delayed and come after hard work & perseverance.

Role of Mars - Mars placement is important to guide Saturn in right direction, being Chitra's lord.

Role of Mercury - Mercury placement is important to guide Saturn in right direction, being Virgo's lord.

Role of Venus – Venus placement is important to guide Saturn in right direction, being Libra’s lord.

Other Factors – And of course, we need to consider conjunction, aspects, house lordship, house position and dashas etc to know the exact results of Saturn in Chitra. So, we always need to take a holistic view of chart rather than just 1 planetary position.

Conclusion – So, this is how I see Saturn in Chitra can work in a chart.

Hope this helps. Please post any comment or query you may have.
