Saturn - It is all that which we don't like in our life. Saturn is Delay, Frustration, Restriction, Limitation and Anxiety. It is people of Authority, like Boss at your Work Place or Father-Figure at Home. Saturn is our Karmic Debt from past-life. Saturn is the things we didn't treat too well in our past life. Saturn is our Challenges and Lessons of life. Saturn is Old-Age, Teeth/Bones in Human Body, Diseases, Changes etc. Saturn represents our Step-Relations, it means that wherever Saturn sits, people related with that house give us Step Treatment. Saturn is Hard Work, Efforts and most importantly Perseverance etc. Nothing comes easy and in one go with Saturn. You have to work hard continuously over the longest possible period of life. Cancer is 4th sign of Zodiac Belt, hence it represents the things represented by 4th house like Mother, Mother's Care, Emotions, Taking Care of Others and Nourishment etc. Cancer is consisted of 2 and half Nakshatras namely Punarvasu, Pushyami and Ashlesha. Cancer's lord is Moon, which again represents almost same things which Cancer and 4th house represents.

 

Moon - As Moon rules Cancer, Moon's position and dignity is important to know about the overall functioning of any planet in Ashlesha/Cancer.

Interpretation of Saturn in Ashlesha Nakshatra – Saturn is in enemy sign here but it is in friendly nakshatra of Mercury. But besides that, the nature of Ashlesha is not great anyways. As Ashlesha shows our insecurities & clinging attitude and it is one of the most difficult nakshatras, this is a difficult position because Saturn itself remains the most malefic planet among all. Saturn in Ashlesha can give person many painful experiences due to clinging and holding on to things or people. As Saturn represents long durations, it shows that pain and suffering due to clinging will last over a long period of time. Many of times they cling to people who are Saturnian by nature; i.e. who are detached and non-emotional. Hence, the pain and suffering is obvious. Hence, for personal-emotional relations, it is not a good a good planetary position.

We can utilize it in matters of healing, either physical or psychological. Saturn in Cancer people are naturally good at healing. As Ashlesha represents someone’s emotional or psychological issues, it shows that these people can be good as psychologist and counsellors. They can be good healers. Ashlesha is also a Serpant Energy which is representation of Kundalini. So, Saturn in Ashlesha can help in spiritual evolution of someone.
