Mercury in Scorpio.

A thing to remember here is that these posts are strictly meant for the particular planet position. Like, today we are looking at Mercury in Scorpio, so the description given here may change for you if your Mercury is although in the sign of Scorpio but with conjunction with or aspected by other planets.

So, lets see what Mercury can do in Scorpio without any conjunction or aspect from any other planet. 1st lets see what these 2 things represent --

Mercury represents communication skills, marketing, calculative ability, younger siblings, hobbies, skills with hands, intelligence, quick decision making, logical thinking, youthfulness etc.

Scorpio is the 8th sign of zodiac belt, hence it represents the things and energy related with 8th house of horoscope like Sudden Events, Secrecy, Dark World, Occult Science, Research, Inheritance, Serving Others, Taxes etc. Besides these things sign of Scorpio also represent transformation, means changing the whole nature upside down. Now with Scorpio, scary things start in Astrology. This is one sign which is favorite of every Astrologer, because it has maximum secrets, so every astrologer gets maximum scope of researching. This is sign about which no one can tell with precision that what will happen to the planets in it, as it is sign of secrecy itself. Scorpio is one sign where no planet is happy. Scorpio is also one of those unique signs which has 2 rulers, i.e. Mars and Ketu. Scorpio is the sign which shows our Karmic Debt in this world. Scorpio consists of next set of 2 and half nakshatras, i.e. Vishakha, Anuradha and Jyeshtha. 

So, it will be fairly short and simple. When Mercury comes into Scorpio, it becomes a natural position for someone in Occult, Investigative field as Scorpio is sign of Secrets and Mercury is the planet of collection of information. So, these people have a natural tendency towards collecting secretive information. They love communicating about the secrets and occult side of world. They can have large amount of secret information with them due to their research ability. One profession which is certainly on with this position is of Astrologer or any other Occultist as Mercury is significator of Astrology and Scorpio is the main home of all Occultist information. Now, if person goes through any Mahadasha which activates Mercury in the chart, there is every possibility of person going into occult field. Overall, a great position to become an Occultist or Mystic. 

Again, impact of Mercury effect in Scorpio will be controlled by the various nakshatra Mercury might be in. Like, if Mercury is in Vishakha nakshatra, its lord Jupiter's position will effect Mercury's working in Scorpio. If Mercury is in Anuradha nakshatra, then Saturn will impact Mercury's role in Scorpio. If Mercury is in Jyeshtha nakshatra, then it is little bit at home as Jyeshtha's lord is Mercury only.. 

Last but not the least, we have to look at position and conditions both lords of Scorpio, i.e. Mars and Ketu, to finally come to know what is going on with this Mercury here. So, overall reading is much more necessary than a particular planet in sign position.
