As Mars represents energy and action & wherever it goes in horoscope, it takes our energy there. Likewise, now Mercury is communication and wherever it goes, it will make person interested about communicating in that particular field. So, now Mercury is in the sign of Taurus, which is sign ruled by Venus, Mercury's friend. As Venus and Taurus sign represent beauty and Mercury is communication, these people have a beautiful way to communicate.  They can be good singers too. Mercury-Venus combo most generally creates a person who is very good with numbers. They can be good with any financial business, stocks, shares and assets trading. If Mercury is in Krittika, then Mercury will be impacted by Sun's position as Krittika is Sun's own Nakshatra. If Mercury is in Rohini, then it is impacted by Moon's position as Rohini's lord is Moon. If Mercury is in Mrigashira, then it is impacted by Mars' position as Mrigshira's lord is Mars. 

As stated, biggest impact will be as per Venus condition in horoscope, as Venus is lord of Taurus. Overall, whole chart needs to be checked before making any conclusion.
