Meaning of Mercury's aspect through Houses for Scorpio Ascendant

Let’s take a look at those things which matter here – 

Mercury - It represents communication skills, marketing, calculative ability, younger siblings, hobbies, skills with hands, intelligence, quick decision making, logical thinking, youthfulness etc.

For Scorpio Ascendant people, Mercury rules the 8th house & 11th house of chart with its sign Gemini & Virgo. So, let’s look at 8th house, 11th house, Gemini and Virgo too. 

8th house - It is house of secrecy, occult knowledge, longevity, transformation, death and re-birth, In laws family, joint wealth with spouse etc.

11th house - It represents Elder Siblings, Large Organizations, Huge Structures, Higher Goals and Purposes for the Universe, Network Circle, Entrepreneurship, Friends, Gains, Income and Earnings etc.

Gemini - It is the 3rd sign of zodiac belt, so it represents many things related with 3rd house of horoscope like, Communication Skills (either written, oral or even by sign language), Marketing, Business etc. It is a sign basically related with communications and business ideas. Gemini is divided into 2 and half nakshatra of Mrigashira, Ardra and Punarvasu. Gemini's lord is Mercury, which is significator of Communications. 

Virgo - It is the 6th sign of zodiac belt, hence it represents almost all the things which are represented by the 6th house of horoscope like Debts, Diseases, Obstacles, Serving the under-privileged, Service Life, etc. Besides this, Virgo represents analytical or critical skills of people, being perfectionist and healing abilities. Virgo's basic representation is the lady coming in boat with wheat and herbs in her hands. So, Virgo is basically a sign of healing. Virgo consists of 2 and half nakshatra. i.e. Uttara-Phalguni, Hasta and Chitra. Virgo's lord is Mercury.

What will Mercury do in Aspect? – Now, Mercury can be sitting in any house of chart for a Scorpio Ascendant person.1st of all, Mercury will take the energy of house of chart, it rules with Gemini & Virgo sign, and take it to the house where it sits. Then from the house it sits, it will throw its aspect on the 7th house from its place. Now, as Mercury basically represents Communication, Collection of Information, Travelling, Teaching, Counselling and Advising, Mercury will make person communicate and counsel people related to the house it is aspecting about the houses it rules and also will make person collect information about the house it is aspecting. 

Things which I still can’t cover – Although, I am trying to make it a detailed analysis of planetary aspects but I still can’t cover few things like dignity of planet involved, like Mercury conjunct with other planets, if there are planets in 7th house from Mercury where it aspects in which case those planets will aspect back at Mercury and impact it, and planets aspecting Mercury from other houses. That’s why, no matter how detailed analysis you do in Astrology, there are still few things uncovered and that just shows the limits of Human Efforts. 

Now, let’s see the meaning and impact of Mercury's aspect through different houses for Scorpio Ascendant people. 

Mercury in 1st house –Mercury is in Scorpio here. This shows someone who is too much into occult and mysticism. He might even have a mystical personality. It also shows that sudden events impacts person's life path. Its aspect on 7th house suggests that they want to interact with other people on occult and mysticism. They want to communicate with their spouse same way. They can be an Astrologer. 

Mercury in 2nd house – Mercury is in Sagittarius here. This is a person who is all into higher education of occult and mysticism. They are earning their wealth through occult services to people. Its aspect on 8th house also shows the gains from serving people and counselling. It shows good communicative relations with in-laws too. They will always talk about higher ideals and values in life. 

Mercury in 3rd house – Mercury is in Capricorn here. It shows a counselor in the field of Law. So, they can be Lawyer or Govt Spokesperson etc. Their will be Legal Writing involved in their communications. So, even an RTI activist can be seen from this placement.
